Towerheads.Com Will Help USEF Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund

North Kingstown, R.I. – September 4 – John Redfern, the President of Towerheads.com, the popular equestrian website, today announced that the website will be donating money to the USEF Hurricane Relief Fund.
The fund, created by the United States Equestrian Federation, is assisting those agencies working directly with the equine victims and refugees from Hurricane Katrina. The money will be used to support efforts to deliver food, veterinary services, and shelter for horses and ponies in the hurricane stricken areas.
“Towerheads had to become involved in this worthwhile effort by the USEF,” Redfern said. “We’ve got members throughout the Southeast that have been devastated by this terrible disaster. Some of our members have nothing left. We’ve been keeping the equestrian community up to date on Hurricane Katrina information even before the storm made landfall. And now we’ll get involved financially, as well,” he said. “We applaud the United States Equestrian Federation for their efforts.”
For all Corporate Members who either sign-up or rejoin in the Month of September, Towerheads will contribute $50 to the USEF Relief Fund. For regular Members who sign up or renew their Yearly Subscription, Towerheads will contribute $10 to the USEF Relief Fund. For Junior Members who sign up or renew their Yearly subscription, Towerheads will contribute $5 to the USEF Relief Fund.
