Trail Blazer Magazine Seeks Trail Warrior Nominations

Trail Blazer Magazine, an equestrian trail riding and lifestyle magazine, is seeking nominations for our Trail Warrior Program. The goal of the Trail Warrior Program is to recognize and show our appreciation for the individuals who are making a significant impact on equestrian trails.
“Since our inception in 1979, Trail Blazer Magazine has been advocate for equestrian trails, but now we want to take it one step further and recognize the individuals who are preserving, establishing, and maintaining trails for equestrians,” says Susan Gibson, publisher.
The trail riders in our country number into the millions, and as a united group, we can be a loud and powerful voice to help save our precious trails on public lands. Trail Blazer is dedicated in bringing all trail riders together, and in sharing information on how we can work together to ensure that we will always have trails to ride.
“It is a reality in our world today that our horse trails are vanishing, and it is only through the work of truly dedicated “trail warriors” that we can insure we have our trails for generations to come. It is all about hard work, and we want to recognize those who work so hard for our precious trails,” says Gibson.
Prior winners of the Trail Warrior award include John Krueger of Coast Mounted Assistance and Bud and Gwen Wills who founded the Pennsylvania Equine Council Stewardship Program. Winners receive an official Trail Blazer Trail Warrior certificate and an article recognizing their achievements published in Trail Blazer Magazine.
