Traveler(R) and Tommy Trojan to Appear Live at Equine Affaire February 2

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- USC's legendary mascots Traveler(R) and Tommy Trojan will make an exclusive appearance at Equine Affaire on February 2, 2008. Equine Affaire, one of the country's largest equine expositions and equestrian gatherings, runs January 31 - February 3 at the Fairplex in Pomona.
Fresh off the heels of their winning Rose Bowl appearance, Traveler(R) and Tommy Trojan can be seen together again on Saturday, February 2nd from 2-4 pm at the Fiesta Pavilion, located in Building 10, Booth 51. General Hospital star Leslie Charleson will be on hand with her Andalusian horse, Romero CL, on Sunday, February 3rd from noon-2 pm.
Traveler(R) is a proud ambassador both for USC and Spanish-bred horses. Showcased beside this beautiful white horse will be Fiesta of the Spanish Horse, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center and other cancer research organizations. Traveler(R), a multiple National Champion pure Spanish Andalusian, is owned and trained by Fiesta of the Spanish Horse director Joanne Asman, a long-time coordinator of equestrian events and dedicated supporter of cancer research.
Fiesta of the Spanish Horse is an annual cancer research benefit and horse show held at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank. The benefit's signature Saturday evening event, a Broadway-style extravaganza on horseback, is scheduled for May 3, 2008. Traveler(R) will appear at Fiesta with many other Spanish-bred horses in this musical celebration that coincides with the Cinco de Mayo holiday.
