Underprivileged Little Girls Love Rescued, Unwanted Horses

Ocala, FL - Horses ‘N’ Heroes bring love and happiness to underprivileged little girls through a heartwarming free charitable program. Little girls from low income families are no different than any other little child. They long for love, happiness and that special bond between themselves and that cherished little pony. Unfortunately many little girls are unable to ever experience that loving relationship. Mindy Nolan Morrow is changing all that by giving little girls and unwanted ponies and horses an opportunity they would never have.

Mindy Nolan Morrow, Executive Director, created Horses ‘N’ Heroes to help conquer such a challenge. Her love of bringing little girls together with donated as well as unwanted, rescued horses started 12 years ago. Since then hundreds of little girls have found great joy and happiness through the free program. The girls enjoy everything about the program, the farm chores, grooming horses, team interaction, educational training, and even the thrill of winning ribbons at local horse shows. Mindy adds, “We have had so many wonderful success stories of little girls blossoming through our program and becoming productive happy determined young ladies. It really warms your heart to see them make such wonderful achievements knowing their life challenges.”
