Following the completion of the USEF Selection Trials for Show Jumping in Wellington, Fla., the United States Equestrian Federation's Ad Hoc Committee on Selection has approved naming the following ten horse/rider combinations to the Show Jumping Short List for the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong August 8-24, 2008.
As per the Selection Procedures, the top 6 horse/rider combinations are named according to their Final Ranking in the Selection Trials. The remaining four horse/rider combinations may be discretionary choices recommended by the Selectors. In this case, the Selectors exercised their option to use four discretionary choices. In addition, the Selectors name and rank ten substitute horse/rider combinations to the Short List.
The combinations are as follows:

3. Anne Kursinksi/ Champ 163 (Frenchtown, NJ)

5. Kate Levy/ Vent Du Nord (Wellington, FL)
6. Anne Kursinksi/ Roxana 112 (Frenchtown, NJ)
7. Beezie Madden/ Authentic (Cazenovia, NY)
8. McLain Ward/ Sapphire (Brewster, NY)
9. Jeffery Welles/ Armani (Wellington, FL)
10. Will Simpson/ Carlsson Vom Dach (Thousand Oaks, CA)
