USET FOUNDATION SUPPORTS EVENT TALENT SQUAD FOR EUROPE

Gladstone, New Jersey -.May 19,2005 - The United States Equestrian Team Foundation is providing financial support for a Talent Tour of four horse and rider combinations to compete at the Luhmulen 4-Star Event in Germany June 15-20. The 4-Star CCI is expected to be highly competitive as several nations have made it one of the final qualifiers for the European Eventing Championship.
The USET Foundation joined the United States Equestrian Federation in providing funding for the Talent Tour that is designed to provide top level international experience for talented U.S. competitors.
The horse-rider combinations selected for the Talent Tour by the USEF High Performance Committee are:
* Becky Holder and Courageous Comet,
* Bonnie Mosser and Jenga,
* Nathalie Bouckaert Pollard and West Farthing, and
* Jan Thompson and Waterfront.
To be selected for the Talent Tour, the riders could not have previously competed at an Olympics or World Equestrian Games, but had to qualify for a 4-Star event.
