GLADSTONE, NJ - March 20, 2008 - The United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation will present "One Team, One Dream - A Salute to Hong Kong," an Olympic Benefit and Silent Auction, on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Oaks Blenheim Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The event will be held concurrent with the U.S. Olympic Dressage Team Selection Trials.
The fundraiser, themed on the site for equestrian competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, will benefit the U.S. equestrian teams competing in Hong Kong. "One Team, One Dream - A Salute to Hong Kong" will bring together top equestrian athletes, supporters, and friends.
"Following the recent success of our 'Hong Kong by Night' gala in Florida, we expect the 'One Team, One Dream - A Salute to Hong Kong' in California will be equally exciting and well-attended," said USET Foundation Executive Director Bonnie B. Jenkins. "This fundraiser is especially important as the Olympics draw near. We are anticipating that generous donors will be enthusiastic about the Olympics, our U.S. equestrian teams, and the opportunity to help our athletes achieve the success we know they are capable of at the 2008 Games."
