Animal Welfare Project Seeking Public Relations Volunteers
Equestrian News Release
Valley Forge, PA ---The Animal Welfare Project is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Valley Forge, PA. Made up of professional animal trainers, its main mission is to create a training center for homeless horses and dogs.
After professional training takes place, animals will have a better opportunity to find new careers. They can be adopted as pets, sporting competitors, or work in many types of Community Service (Therapy animals, Search & Rescue, etc.).
Other missions include public education regarding animals, improving animal cruelty legislation, and supporting Humane Police Officers (Animal Cops). We also have a goal of Land and Trail Preservation, to enhance training grounds for the animals to work on.
We are currently seeking talented volunteers familiar with the media business, or those with an interest in gaining experience in the media industry, who are willing to donate their time and expertise for Public Relations purposes.
Volunteer positions that are available include:
1) Compilation of our Quarterly Newsletter.
2) Design and upkeep of a web-based newsletter.
3) Creation and distribution of press releases.
