Wachovia & Coca-Cola Join Sponsors at the Fairfield County June Horse Show

WESTPORT, CT – May 3, 2007 - Wachovia Securities and Coca-Cola North America have joined the roster of sponsors at the Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit Horse Show.

The EQUUS Foundation will sponsor two benefits during the five-day Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit Horse Show - a Fashion Show on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, and its Benefit Luncheon and Silent Auction on Saturday, June 30, 2007. The Saturday luncheon takes place during the exciting $25,000 Fairfield Grand Prix, the culminating event of the show. The Grand Prix is open to the public features world class riders and horses competing over five foot high jumps at racehorse speeds.

Throughout the week, the public is welcome to watch the equestrian competitions as well as peruse the Paddock Boutiques which include Cocoa Michelle, M& F Prints, Rawlings Antiques, The Snappy Gator, Etcetera and more.

The EQUUS Foundation is seeking individuals and businesses to assist with their gracious generosity, either through cash donations, in-kind donations, auction donations or sponsorships. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

EQUUS BENEFIT LUNCHEON, SILENT AUCTION & GRAND PRIX

WHAT: The EQUUS Foundation Benefit Luncheon is held in conjunction with the $25,000 Grand Prix of the Fairfield County June Benefit Horse Show, the culminating event of the five-day horse show. Set under a pristine white Century tent overlooking the Club’s polo field, guests will enjoy a champagne reception, silent auction, and delicious buffet during the luncheon, which takes place immediately prior to the Grand Prix. The Club’s field is transformed into a picturesque, yet challenging Grand Prix Course, showcasing talented riders with national and regional reputations and horses performing at the highest level of competition.

ABOUT THE EQUUS FOUNDATION, INC.

The EQUUS Foundation, Inc., an all-volunteer 501(c) (3) non-profit fund raising organization, was founded in August 2002 to promote the positive use of the horse for the benefit of the general public and the equestrian sport as a whole.
