WHAT: $5,000 World Championship Hunter Rider Professional Finals for the 2006 Monarch International Show Circuit Magazine Professional WCHR title. (The winner of the Championship will be presented with a unique media sponsorship package from Show Circuit Magazine.)
*New for 2006, Far West Farms Perpetual Trophy, donated to the AHJF by the Karazissis Family (awarded to the owner of the High Score Horse).

WHY: This is the only Hunter competition for Professional Hunter riders in the sport where riders go head to head after accumulating points on their best rides of the horse show. The top four are asked to compete on horses they have never ridden; the horses are kept confidential throughout the show.

WHEN: October 6, 2006 – 7:30 PM - as part of the Capital Challenge Horse Show
7:00: Exhibitor Party on Concourse with Open Buffet
7:00: Various AHJF Awards Presentations in Arena (Dover Kids, Lifetime Achievement, New Hunter Course Designer Award, Sportsmanship Award, etc.)
Post Event Reception: Press Conference and Dessert Buffet in Paddock Lounge
