Wellington, FL – January 11, 2007 – Join equestrian celebrities for an evening of fun and fundraising to benefit Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center on Monday, January 22, from 5-8 p.m. for Celebrity Bartending at Wellington Golf & Country Club.
Dressage rider Arlene “Tuny” Page and grand prix rider Candice King will be at your service, in addition to other top riders and notable names. Several high-goal polo players will also be there to make drinks throughout the evening. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served, and a disc jockey will keep everyone entertained.
Proceeds from Celebrity Bartending will benefit Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center, a nonprofit organization in Loxahatchee Groves, FL that provides recreational and therapeutic riding instruction to people of all ages with varying developmental, physical and psychological disabilities.
All attendees are encouraged to bring friends to support a good cause. Aside from daily operating costs, Vinceremos is launching an ambitious plan, “Cover Our Kids,” to develop a new barn, covered riding arena and parking area in order to better serve its clients. The center will launch the fundraising campaign on Saturday, January 13, 2007, with a barn show at 9 a.m., reception at 12 p.m., and a ground breaking at 1 p.m.
The center was founded in 1981 and has served more than 1000 clients in the past 25 years. Vinceremos has a staff of therapeutic riding instructors, occupational therapists and psychotherapists who are certified with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, as well as a team of 15 specially trained equine partners.
