Wellington Equestrian Partners Signs Special Use Permit for WEF

WELLINGTON, Fla. Oct. 24--Wellington Equestrian Partners, LLC announced Wednesday that it has reached agreement with Stadium Jumping, Inc. to sign a Special Use Permit (SUP) for tent stabling for the Winter Equestrian Festival beginning in January.
"The permit we signed will enable WEF to proceed with as many tents as are requested," said Mark Bellissimo, the Managing Partner of WEP that acquired the horse show grounds in September.
WEP had earlier signed a SUP for the National Horse Show that is held at the same Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club.
"We are extremely pleased to do everything we can to insure that there are no impediments to the Winter Equestrian Festival and the National Horse Show that are vital to economic well being of Wellington, its businesses and residents," Bellissimo said.
"We especially want to thank Stadium Jumping for the spirit of cooperation they brought to the discussions to give effect to this agreement for the sake of the thousands of horse show exhibitors and vendors as well as our community of Wellington."
The SUP had been delayed while the two entities sought to resolve issues involving the lease after the shpw grounds and the adjacent old Polo Stadium were acquired by WEP in September. SJI's lease of the show grounds is scheduled to expire at the end of 2008.
The National Horse Show is scheduled for Dec. 5-9 and the Winter Equestrian Festival from Jan. 30 to Mar. 23 in Wellington.
