Important Date Reminders for West Coast Active Riders Organization

Wellington, FL – April 12, 2006 – The West Coast Active Riders (WCAR) organization is currently preparing for the upcoming Spruce Meadows Prix de Nations competition and their WCAR Summer European Tour. As summer draws near, WCAR reminds athletes of important dates and deadlines.
On Monday, May 1st, applications are due for the 2006 WCAR Summer European Tour. Applications are available at http://www.westcoastactiveriders.com, by e-mailing info@equestrisol.com, and are also in the Show Office at the Oaks Blenheim Horse Show.
On Friday, May 12th, WCAR is holding its General Membership Meeting at Showpark Ranch & Coast Horse Show for members and potential members to attend. Afterwards, WCAR is hosting a Cook-Off & Auction. For more information on the Cook-Off, Click here to view flyer.
To prepare athletes, the West Coast Active Riders organization is currently planning Day Clinics for riders interested in schooling their horses over natural obstacles and courses that will replicate ones at Spruce Meadows. On Sunday, June 4th, the first Spruce Meadows schooling session will be held at Fairbanks Valley Farm. Spruce Team Members will be invited to this special day for a chance to school over all the natural obstacles before the competition.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together in a team setting and prepare for Spruce Meadows,” commented Tammy Chipko, organizer of the WCAR Prix de Nations Program. “We strongly recommend that riders try to make at least one of the two schooling sessions.”
