Wide World of Horses to Run Through 2010

True South, LLC has announced that its award-winning television show, Wide World of Horses, has been extended through 2010. The program, featured weekly on RFD-TV, has become one of the network’s most popular programs since it debuted in January, 2007.

“RFD-TV has become a destination network for many, many horse people,” said Wide World of Horses Co-Owner Jack Covington. “It’s been great to be a part of the RFD-TV family, and we’ve enjoyed a very positive response for all the episodes on Wide World of Horses “We are pleased with the new agreement with the network, and look forward to continuing to bring exciting programs to our audience.”

In addition to featuring NRHA Inside Reining every other week, the 30-minute show has delivered profiles of industry notables along with major event coverage of the National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity, NRCHA Fort Dodge Animal Health Celebration of Champions, and the National Reining Breeders Classic. Western performance greats, including Tim McQuay, Shawn Flarida, Dick Pieper, Charmayne James and Les Vogt have also been featured.

“From the beginning, Wide World of Horses has been a success, and has reached across equestrian discipline lines, so that everyone enjoys the show,” noted Cheryl Magoteaux, Co-Owner of Wide World of Horses. “We are excited that we can bring the excitement of major events, and insight from different top horsemen, into the homes of equine enthusiasts everywhere.”

Wide World of Horses airs on RFD-TV at 11:30 am and 9:30 pm CST every Monday and on Sunday morning at 6:30 am. The 30-minute program features a broad spectrum of the equine world’s most exciting events and individuals and offers a great opportunity for equine individuals and events to reach an audience approaching 40 million viewers.
