Elemental Wild Horses to Benefit from Liz Mitten Ryan Book and Art Sales

Liz Mitten Ryan, World-renowned Canadian Artist-Equine Communicator and Author of four award-winning books, has offered 50% of her book and art sales in support of Elemental Wild Horses. The mission of Tam and Allen Ennor of the Sanctuary – providing a safe environment in New Zealand to preserve the unique and genetically distinct species of wild horses there – resonates strongly with Mitten Ryan. She has already used the sale of her stunning artwork to benefit animal welfare groups around the world. Now, she is wholeheartedly supporting the work of Elemental Wild Horses.

The Sanctuary, consisting of 134 acres of meadowland, is located in the Tararua District, North Island, New Zealand. Tam and Allen are dedicated to the preservation of New Zealand’s native horses for future generations. Many of the wild horses currently occupy Army land and are considered a pest on that environment. They are rounded up and a small number of juveniles re-homed, but most are shot or sent for slaughter. Their numbers have now dwindled to around 500, a number at which efforts to save them can still be effective.

“We have a chance to do something here – us ordinary people who say we love horses”, said Tam. “But it is up to us to decide if and how we become a part of their future or if they do not have a future.”

Mitten Ryan’s first book - One with the Herd: A Spiritual Journey - is capturing hearts all across the world. It has won five major book awards. This visionary work is an intimate record of one woman’s journey with her semi-wild horses – yet it has broad implications for the repair of all our lives. The text is enriched by Mitten Ryan’s original artwork, poetry, photographs and journal entries.

"I would like to offer 50% of the money from the sale of this book, sales of artist’s prints and 3 of my original paintings – Passion, Equinisity and Heart”, said Mitten Ryan. “My heart is aligned in love and support for the rare native horses of New Zealand and the work of Elemental Wild Horses. Best of luck in this very important cause."

Don’t miss this opportunity to support Elemental Wild Horses and enhance your own journey.
