Springfield Missouri: The Pony Press Newspaper, along with New Visions Marketing & Promotions, is very excited to announce they will be coming together to produce a three day event aimed at horsewomen - The Women & Horses Expo TM. The event is coming in November of 2008. The event is geared towards women involved in the horse industry whether they are first time horse owners, long time horse owners, professional horse women, horse enthusiasts or horse related business owners.

The Women & Horses Expo TM will feature educational seminars, workshops and demonstrations with horsewomen in mind. Some of the top horsewomen in the industry will be speaking and sharing their knowledge and expertise in their field. A number of vendors, both local and national, will be displaying their products and services at the trade show.

The concept for the Women & Horses Expo was derived from the Women & Horses Mind, Spirit and Body TM seminars given by Cheryl Childs, who is a lifelong horsewoman and supporter of women and their horses. Cheryl believes there is a need to support and promote all women in the horse industry. As an instructor and trainer she is very much aware of that need. Her vision for the Women & Horses Expo TM is an event that appeals to all horsewomen while promoting women in the horse industry. Cheryl knows that with the marketing skills of New Visions Marketing & Promotions coupled with the Pony Press the event can't fail.

Statistics show that 50% of horse owners today are women, nearly 80% of those attending Horse Expos are women, and 91% of shoppers at equine.com are female. The Women & Horses Expo TM is a terrific opportunity for sponsors, as well as vendors, to reach that segment of the population. It will be a solid sales and marketing opportunity for equine related businesses. The timing of this event will also coincide with the beginning of the holiday shopping season.
