Fossil Gate Farms' Mr Yella Fella to be Inducted into Palomino Hall of Fame

ARGYLE, Texas, March 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- http://www.fossilgatefarms.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Fossil Gate Farms is proud to announce that legendary halter sire Mr Yella Fellawill be inducted into the Palomino Horse Breeders of America Hall of Fame.


The Hall of Fame honor will be awarded at the PHBA's annual convention in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in March 2016.


A 1995 AQHA stallion sired by Page Impressive and out of Lets Skip Town, the renowned stallion earned a long list of top honors during his lifetime, including being a two-time American Quarter Horse Association World Champion and two-time PHBA World Champion. Mr Yella Fella was euthanized last year at age 19 because of a painful orthopedic condition. Significantly, Mr Yella Fella'soffspring continue to leave their mark on the equine world, including World Champion titles in multiple breeds, including AQHA, PHBA, the American Paint Horse Association (APHA) and American Buckskin Association (ABRA).


His legacy lives on at Fossil Gate Farms with numerous acclaimed halter horses. Most recently, FG Ladieslovejewels earned four Grand Champion honors at the Heart of Texas Spring Circuit in March. In addition, Fossil Gate Farms welcomed several impressive foals with lineage to Mr Yella Fella this year. Fossil Gate Farms reports that demand among breeders remains strong for frozen semen from Mr Yella Fella.
