Saddlebreds Lost in Kentucky Barn Fire
A barn fire killed 25 American Saddlebreds and one half-Saddlebred at 3-T Stables, owned by the Glyndle Tabor family in Scottsville, KY, on June 19, 2007. By the time the fire was noticed just before 7 am ET at 3-T’s broodmare barn, it had become a "raging inferno," according to 3-T Stables’ Paige Tabor. Woodrow’s Story: What else could happen to a foal?
A 6-year-old maiden mare foaled unattended 25 days prematurely on a cold February night. The colt was found early the next morning lying in a snow bank with the mare standing nearby. Horse News to Hold Name The Foal Contest at New Jersey HorseXpo
