Jan Pearce and her students have shown that the Tortoise and the Hare approach is the way to win the Langer Equestrian Group’s Trainer Incentive. Although trainers Jenny Davis and Beverly Jovais earned more points at the shows they attended, they missed shows during the season, while Pearce and her students attended every show in the LEG Woodside series. Pearce poured on the heat to earn a lot of points in the final shows of the season and was in second place to Jovais going into the Woodside Fall Finale. Sharn Wordley Qualifies Second Horse for the Olympics
When the pressure's on, Sharn Wordley and the rest of the New Zealand Olympic candidates turn on the heat and lay down fault-free trips at the world's most competitive showjumping venues. Although New Zealand already qualified a team for this summer's Olympic Games, in order for the team to compete, each individual rider must also earn a Certificate of Capability (COC) by jumping fault-free or low-fault rounds at CSI events that are designated three-star or higher.
