Royce C. Armstrong

Royce Armstrong is a freelance writer, amateur wildlife photographer and pen and ink artist. He grew up on a farm in central Illinois where he learned an appreciation for wildlife and domestic livestock, especially horses. He spent many summer days riding ponies over farm pastures and along the shaded trails of a nearby state forest with his brothers and friends.

After a 15-year career as a bank marketer, he decided to pursue his real passion, writing. He began sharing the outdoor experience through his writing and photography. He has spent the past 12 years as a freelance writer, publishing articles about hunting, fishing, tournament archery and horses. His stories appear in magazines, newspapers and on websites.
